The Sussex County Health Coalition is excited to announce that it has been awarded a generous grant from the Longwood Foundation to establish a co-working space in Sussex County, Delaware. This innovative space is designed to empower and support local community-based organizations, incubate emerging non-profits, and align programming to better meet the unique needs of our community.
By offering shared space, professional development opportunities, and access to vital tools, this initiative will help local organizations scale their impact, improve program coordination, and enhance the delivery of services in areas such as health, education, and social support.
SCHC is grateful to the Longwood Foundation for their continued investment in Sussex County and for recognizing the importance of strengthening local infrastructure to build a healthier, more resilient community. The co-working space is a pivotal step toward ensuring that non-profits and community organizations have the support they need to thrive and serve our community more effectively. We look forward to continuing collaboration with new and existing partners, expected to be built by the fall of 2025.
