“Every day thousands of Delawareans are affected by the opioid epidemic. Supporting Sussex County Health Coalition and Delaware Goes Purple and their fight against substance abuse is critically important. In August, I penned a letter to the NIH urging research regarding substance abuse’s impact and connection to COVID-19 challenges.
Mental health, substance abuse, and recovery are causes that I care deeply about, and I thank the Sussex County Health Coalition for the groundwork they do in helping Delawareans.” Senator Chris Coons

They are all shining a purple light to raise awareness and support the collective efforts of this vital work.
