The Delaware Adolescent Program, Inc. (DAPI), a statewide alternative academic setting for pregnant and parenting teens, seeks a licensed practical nurse for the school year 2018-2019 within the Sussex County Center. This position consists of 30 hours/week with holidays, weekends and summers off. Salary negotiable. Other benefits include: paid personal days, discounted health benefits, free parking, and school day schedule. Our nurses teach maternal health to the students as well as monitor vital signs, contact medical professionals for medical case management; attend meetings with the teaching staff, attends school trips, and coordinates outside speakers for group discussions. The flexibility of this position makes it ideal for those looking for non-traditional nursing options with the benefit of a school schedule. Teaching experience highly preferred.
