United Way of Delaware SPARC

United Way of Delaware is passionate about our young people and offering programs that help them to acquire and develop the skills that lead to academic achievement and workplace success. United Way’s SPARC (Success Pathways and Roads to Careers) is a safe, online platform that connects youth with career profiles, e-coaches, and aids in finding meaningful work-based learning activities, such as guest speakers or paid internships, all specific for Delaware!

SPARC is in your community to help drive career and college readiness, address employer workforce needs, and enable Delawareans to get jobs. Built on a collaborative and highly interactive foundation to aid good career decision making and support for reaching personal career destinations, SPARC was founded through a partnership involving the Delaware Department of Education, the Delaware Business Roundtable Education Committee, Delaware Pathways and United Way of Delaware.

United Way is currently working with our youth and educators in Seaford, Cape Henlopen, Sussex Tech and  High, Woodbridge, Laurel, and is looking to engage more students in college and career readiness programs that promote positive youth development in our Promise Communities. You can help drive this cause today by advocating for implementation in your school districts, volunteering to be an e-coach, or participating in work-based learning activities.
