Arsht Cannon Fund
EXPANDS SCHOOL BASED MENTAL HEALTHOctober 2017
The Arsht Cannon Fund strives to improve the quality of life for all Delawareans by funding nonprofit organizations that provide educational opportunities and access to health care for Hispanic Delawareans. The expansion of the School Based Mental Health Collaborative, funded by the Arsht Cannon Fund, will focus on the unique needs of our Latino students.
Sussex County Health Coalition hosted a successful "Meet the Funder” event featuring Dr. Christine Cannon. Over twenty non-profit agencies were in attendance and were able to speak with Dr. Cannon to share valuable information about the work they are doing in Sussex County. The group conversations have already sparked new partnerships among the many agencies in the room.
Sussex County Health Coalition is committed to fostering these new relationships to ensure that all students have access to the mental health resources and support they need.
